As a part of its practice to augment the healthcare sector in Oman, Al Jisr Foundation has donated specialized medical equipment to The Royal Hospital in Muscat governorate and the Social Care House in Rustaq.
Al Jisr Foundation has provided respiratory endoscopy machines for the paediatric respiratory department in The Royal Hospital.
In addition, the foundation donated an interferential TENS, muscle stimulation unit, hydrocollator heating unit, and an electrotherapy unit machine, and ten wheelchairs to the Social Care House.
Dr Sumiya al Araimi, consultant and head of paediatric respiratory and sleep medicine department in The Royal Hospital, said, “Al Jisr Foundation has provided paediatric respiratory endoscopes. The paediatric respiratory department is considered to be the central and vital reference for all lung diseases.”
Through these donations, Al Jisr aims to support the healthcare and social sector in Oman, adapts The Sustainable Development vision to foster impactful changes to people, and empower the efforts of the health and social institutions through the provision of the needed medical equipment for their targets.
