Al Jisr Foundation takes part in Muscat Book Fair

Al Jisr Foundation participated in the 24th edition of Muscat Book Fair, the biggest cultural event in the Sultanate. School students enjoined the interactive reading sessions organized by Al Jisr Foundation. These sessions were organized with collaboration of Murshid Magazine, the first Omani magazine dedicated for children.

A team from Al Jisr Foundation joined Murshid Magazine in their awareness sessions, where Al Jisr showcased its recent initiative in health and education, and attracted children through Maher, the interactive character that represents the Al Jisr’s face, and reflects and its philanthropic vision and objectives. In addition, colorful bookmarks were distributed to students, to encourage reading among children .

As part of the foundation’s vision and objectives to deliver sustainable and impactful community-based projects, the foundation publishes content in a monthly basis in Murshid magazine. This content is focused in three main topics: nutrition,  innovation and creativity, and English literacy skills. These sponsored contents are placed in: “Captain Immunity”, who encourages children to eat nutritional meals, “Friends of Murshid Around the World,” which aims to encourage them to learn English and “Train Your Brain with Maher”, which aims to enhance children’s math and innovation skills.
