  • Basic project information

  • Please keep in mind that at the moment our primary focus is Oman.
  • Please provide a short summary of the project.
  • Please provide an overview of the project, budget and/or funding requested. You will be given an opportunity to upload dcoumentation at the end of the application form.

  • Project rationale and potential impact in Oman

  • How was the problem identified, and what research has been used to ascertain this? How will the project specifically address the problem?
  • In what way would this project support national (Oman) efforts related to the Healthcare/ Education and the Sustainable Development Goals?
  • This section should explain who will be the direct and indirect/wider beneficiaries of the project. How was the target group identified? Why were they selected? What consultation has been undertaken with the target group in designing the project? If so, how was this done and what was learned?

  • Project Design

  • Please provide details on the approach you will take to the problem you have defined. What are the main activities that you intend to carry out to tackle the problem? Please justify why you consider this particular approach to be the most effective way.
  • It is important that projects provide good value. Please explain in what way your project will offer the maximum benefit with the resources requested. What alternative approaches could have been applied and why have they been ruled out?
  • Please specify how project beneficiaries will be involved in the implementation of the project.
  • What are the prospects for the benefits of the project being sustained after the funding stops? This section should also justify that the timeframes you have specified for the project are sufficient to achieve the project’s objectives and maintain sustainability.
